1. Information We Do Not Collect
AffiliScan is designed with privacy in mind. We do not collect, store, or transmit your name, email address, browsing history, Amazon account details, or any financial information.
2. How the Extension Works
AffiliScan operates entirely within your browser. It reads YouTube descriptions only when you click Scan, fetches Amazon pages directly from your browser to check link status, and saves all results in your browser's local storage — nothing is sent to any server on the free plan.
3. Permissions Explained
activeTab — to read the current YouTube tab. scripting — to inject the content script. storage — to save results locally. tabs — to find the active YouTube tab.
