What's in the guide
1. Why Amazon links break
Products sell out and Amazon pages get removed. Your old videos still send viewers to those links, and every dead link is a sale you don't get.
2. Install AffiliScan & sign in
Add the free AffiliScan extension to Chrome, pin it to your toolbar, and sign in.
3. Scan a video & read the labels
Open one of your YouTube videos and click Scan Description. AffiliScan checks every Amazon link and labels it OK, Unavailable (out of stock) or Broken (the page is gone).
4. Find a replacement & fix the link
In Links to fix, click Find replacement to find the same product on Amazon. Copy a new link with Amazon's SiteStripe, then click Fix on YouTube to paste it into your description.
5. Restock alerts & more ways to check
Product out of stock? Turn on a restock alert and we email you when it's back. You can also paste links into Check Links, or set up scheduled scans to check your videos automatically. Restock alerts and scheduled scans are part of the Creator plan.
6. Analytics & Product watch
Analytics shows how your links change over time, and Product watch keeps the price and rating history of the products you link to.
